MediaGlobal is an independent international media organization, based in the United Nations, creating awareness in the global media on social justice and development issues in the world’s least developed countries.

Launched in 2006, MediaGlobal is a 501 © 3 media organization headquartered in New York with offices in the United Nations Secretariat.

With a strong focus on the global South, MediaGlobal disseminates news stories globally on economic development, global health, food security and the impact of climate change on developing countries. Since 2006 MediaGlobal has conducted a successful educational programme for students interested in writing on development issues.

Matching Gifts

“Employee matching gifts” are contributions from a corporate employer that match contributions to a charitable organization by a corporate employee. Sometimes called “matching funds” and defined as grants that are made to match funds provided by another donor, some funders require the match in order for them to give. Check with your employers to see if they have a matching gifts or corporate giving programme.
